Dubuque Rescue Mission
The Dubuque Rescue Mission is governed by a Board of Directors. Its members include lay and clergy, both Protestant and Roman Catholic. Our Executive Director, Rick Mihm, who is an ordained clergyperson, is responsible for carrying out the ministries and philosophies set forth by the Board of Directors.
The ministries of the Dubuque Rescue Mission are varied. There is a public meals program, temporary housing for transients, work opportunities, times of worship and other programs that minister to the less fortunate.
In addition, we provide clothing and furniture items to those who have such a need. Churches or social service organizations are always welcome to refer needy persons to our organization.
Our services are available to all, regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age, handicap, creed, religion or political affiliation.
