Lou and Debbie Aisenbrey

In Senegal, Africa, Lou works to record the scriptures for the Jesus video in local languages. By actually recording the narration in the villages, more and better choices for speaking parts can be used to make the media engaging and alive. The Wolof language is understood by approximately 90% of the population of 10 million. It is spoken by 3.4 million. Significant populations of Wolof people are found in surrounding countries. It is increasingly becoming the first language of many young people from non-Wolof people groups in Senegal, especially the cities. Approximately 66 % of the general population is illiterate.
